FAQs

Q 1: What is the security for the building while classes are in session?

The entrances to the building will be locked at 10:00am and no one from outside will have access to the building unless a MLM staff member unlocks the door for them.

Q 2: What day of the week are classes held? Understanding

Due to high demand, we are now offering parents  two days to choose from, Saturday or Sunday. This also allows for smaller class sizes!

Q 3: If my child is signed up for Saturday sessions and misses it, can they attend the Sunday session (or visa versa)?

Unfortunately this is not possible. Children may only attend the session days they have signed up for.

Q 4: What time do I drop off and pick up my child?

Drop off is 9:50am exactly. Please do not send your child prior to this time. 

Pick up for Ages 2-3 (Level 0) is at 12:00pm. 

For Ages 4+ is at 1:30pm. 

If you intend to pick up your younger kids with their older siblings later than 12:00pm they will be allowed to stay.

Q 5: What time is lunch?

Lunch will be served at 12:00pm for Levels 1-4. No lunch is provided for Level 0. If they will be staying to wait for their older siblings, please let our admin and teachers know ahead of time and we will provide lunch.

Q 6: What will be served for lunch?

Simple halal items such as pizza and pasta.

Q 7: Can I send homemade lunch and snacks for my child?

They may bring in their own food (avoiding any common allergens).

Q 8: Why is there disparity in fees for level 0 and 1 versus Level 2-4?

Supervision and Care: Younger children often require closer supervision and more personalized care, which can necessitate a higher staff-to-child ratio and increased staffing costs.

Facilities and Equipment: Facilities and equipment tailored to younger children's safety and developmental needs could require more investment, maintenance, and setup, leading to increased costs. We plan on having an immersive play- learning experience for younger children unlike any other Islamic institution. 


Smaller Group Sizes: To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, MLM might limit group sizes for younger children, leading to a higher ratio of staff-to-children and potentially increasing costs.


Q 9: Are there any discounts for siblings?

Yes, $50 discount is given to each additional sibling enrolled in the program.

Q 10: I enrolled multiple children and I am volunteering. How much will my fees be?

After you have registered, we will email you an invoice with the full amount you owe (applying the discounts) and how to pay the full fee.

Q 11: When are full fees due?

Full fees are due by September 10.

Q 12: Do I need to pay all fees at once or is there an option for monthly payments?

Full payment is required by Sept 10, 2023. You may be able to set up a payment plan with the payment service at checkout. For further guidance please email admin@mightylittlemuslims.org and a payment plan can be discussed.

Q 13: How can I become a volunteer to help in the classroom? Will I receive a discount on my child’s tuition if I volunteer?

Yes we would love your presence. Year-round volunteers may receive a small discount on their child’s tuition. Please contact us at admin@mightylittlemuslims.org

Q 14: Can parents stay in the kid’s classroom during their class?

We welcome and encourage parents to be on premises.

Q 15: If I need to withdraw my child from MLM, can I get a refund on the fees I paid upfront?

The registration fee is non-refundable. If you want to withdraw your child before October 9th, you will get back 50% of the full fee paid. Before October 30th, you will get back 25% of your full fee. After October 30th, no refunds regardless of enrollment length.

Q 16: Do you offer financial assistance?

Yes we do. Please contact admin at admin@mightylittlemuslims.org and we can provide you with an application for requesting financial assistance.

Q 17: Does my child need to be potty trained to attend Level 0 (ages 2-3)?

We accept children who are not potty trained but ask parents to send all supplies (diapers, extra clothes, wipes, etc) .

Q 18: What is the class size to teacher ratio?

We anticipate 20 kids in a class. 1 teacher for every 10 kids in Level 0, 1, and 2. Level 3 and 4 may only have one teacher depending on the number of kids registered.
